Gourmet cat food brand Best Feline Friend has been pulled from Australian shelves after a pet food manufacturer issued a recall of their tinned products.
The food, which was exclusively being sold at Petbarn, was recalled after pet owners reported that their cats were being violently ill after eating it.
U.S-based company, Weruva, issued the recall "out of an abundance of caution" and will be doing tests on the food.
Pet owners have continued to report instances of their cats falling ill after eating the tinned food.
One owner even claimed that they had no choice but to put their beloved pet down.
Anyone with BFF products has been urged to return them to Petbarn so they can receive full refunds.
