2018 is the 40th anniversary of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and like every other year, it means so much to the community.
This year was particularly special, with the legalisation of same sex marriage plus the celebration of the members of the gay community who paved the way for Australia as a country to reach this point.
The festival itself includes movie nights, a fair, shows and more but we LOVE to see the explosion of colour and pride at the parade each year.
For this year's extravaganza, we decided to take out the iPhone X to capture every bright, bold and colourful moment of the night. The portrait mode made our snaps look as professional as ever and looking back on them, the colour is so true and JUST as vibrant as it was in real life! Check out the results below!
So, why are the pics so good? For starters, the iPhone X is all screen, so when you're taking the photo, it takes up the whole device! The tech side? It's called an OLED screen. It also has depth sensing cameras. That's what gives us that blurry background on some of those pics. We even impressed ourselves because it's still point and shoot!
