A heartbreaking letter written by the beautiful Holly Butcher has gone viral after she wrote it on her deathbed.
The Aussie girl from Queensland was just 27 years old, when she died a few days ago from Ewing’s sarcoma.
Her family took to her Facebook page to let her friends know that she had passed, they then followed that post with a letter Holly wrote to the world of things she had learnt through her cancer journey.
Holly spoke about everything from her everyday life, to her dreams to raise a family with her partner. All the things that are no longer a reality.
She starts the letter by saying, “It’s a strange thing to realise and accept your mortality at 26 years young… It’s just one of those things you ignore. The days tick by and you just expect they will keep on coming; until the unexpected happens.”
Adding, “I always imagined myself growing old, wrinkled and grey- most likely caused by the beautiful family (lots of kiddies) I planned on building with the love of my life. I want that so bad it hurts.”
“That’s the thing about life,” she continued. “It is fragile, precious and unpredictable and each day is a gift, not a given right. I’m 27 now. I don’t want to go.”

The piece has been shared over 117,000 times, and touched people across the whole world.
You can see just by her photos that she was full of life.
We can all learn a lot from Holly.
Rest in peace beautiful, thank you for this lesson.
