We’ve all been gushing over the uber cute pics of Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, hanging out with The Queen.
They’re two peas in a pod, smiling and looking like they get along as if they’re besties, and besties usually have nicknames, yes?
Well, it turns out that Meghan will soon be allowed to call Queen Elizabeth II something more nickname-y, other than just Your Majesty.
According to Majesty Magazine and the Daily Mail, once the formalities are all done, Meghan will be able to call the Queen, ‘Mama’.
She is firstly ‘Your Majesty’ and then ‘Ma’am’, but Majesty magazines editor-in-chief Ingrid Seward revealed to Grazia magazine that Meghan may be able to adopt a name that Princess Diana would call the Queen - which was ‘Mama’.
"[Ma'am] can be shortened to Mama, when Meghan gets to know her as Diana did. But never her pet name Lillibet, which is reserved for very close family and friend.”
The Queen and Meghan are looking very relaxed together and insiders believe the Duchess will be able to adopt the nickname sometime soon.
We already know how fond the Queen is of her and this is just oh so adorable!
