We all know some of you like to Rosé all day, but it’s winter and there is another popular alternative on the rise!
Rosato is the Italian equivalent of Rosé, which is often drier, fuller in flavour and more savoury than French Rosé, as a result of the unique Italian grape used.
We know you may love rosé, but a little change is good!
A little darker than what you’re used to, this drink is believed to have more body and more intense fruit notes that you will love, due to Italy’s native purple grapes being a stronger punch than the French counterparts.
Local winemakers are also trying their hand at rosato, like the Giovanni Armani Giorgio Rosato dell-Amore (from the Barossa Valley), using a mixture of Italian grapes and ones which thrive down under.
Want to try a new drink this weekend?
Well, Rosato your day away!
