We're only a month into 2018 but a lot of new food trands involving croissants have hit the internet and we honestly don't know how to handle them anymore.
First, people were putting sushi rolls in croissants creating something called crosushi.
Then, a bakery on the Gold Coast created the Mermaid Croissant which involves a blue algae croissant and creamy cotton candy filling.
Now, we have a brand new food trend for you that actually sounds awesome and we suggest making it for dinner tonight because this is probably the best croissant-based fusion dish we've seen all year!

Tacros are basically just croissants with taco fillings, so instead of cutting your lip on hard taco shells, or getting filled up with thick soft tortillas after your first bite, why not add a light, fluffy croissant into the mix?!
The new dish was created be Vive Le Tarte bakery in San Francisco and clearly, people are loving it!
I love a good ham and cheese croissant, it's my favourite breakfast on the go, but now, I think I might ask for some pork and salad in my croissant next time I need a quick fix...
