Roelands woman charged after serious crash in Glen Iris

Major Crash officers have charged a woman in relation to a serious crash that occurred on Dodson Road, Glen Iris, Bunbury at about 6:55am on Wednesday 26 July 2017.

It is alleged the woman was driving a Holden Astra and failed to take a left bend, crossed the double white lines to the incorrect side of the carriageway and collided head on into a Subaru Forrester, travelling in the opposite direction.

The driver of each vehicle was taken to Bunbury Hospital, with the driver of the Subaru Forrester receiving serious injuries.

A 33 year old woman from Roelands has been charged with Dangerous Driving occasioning Grievous Bodily Harm whilst under the influence of drugs and Driving under the influence of Drugs.

She is due to appear in the Bunbury Magistrates Court on Monday 19 March 2018.
