The Tender panel are set to assess 56 tender registrations and eight submissions which were received, following the closure of the development tender for the new Esperance Jetty.
The submissions will be assessed against a range of criteria to select one that best meets all requirements. The project will be led by a heritage consultant alongside suitably qualified sub consultants.
Shire president, Victoria Brown, said it was encouraging that the community now had tenders that could be assessed, noting “when you consider how well the foreshore turned out, this is a fantastic opportunity to integrate the jetty into our award winning waterfront. The design is going to involve a lot of people in the community and will be a very exciting project for everyone in the community to see develop.”
