Emergency department waiting times for patients at Esperance Health Campus have improved according to the latest information from the WA Department of Health.
The WA Emergency Access Target aims for 90 per cent of patients coming to a public hospital emergency department to be seen and admitted, transferred or discharged within at least four hours.
The latest target report revealed Esperance Health Campus had one of the biggest improvements in wait times across public hospitals in WA in the month of April nearing the 90 per cent target with 86.6 per cent, which was a 9.4 per cent increase from 77.2 per cent in April 2017.
The target reports also reveal wait times at Esperance Health Campus have improved in every reported month of 2018 compared to the same month last year.
