Albany Tops the List

After welcoming 279 new residents, the latest Australian Bureau of Statistics show that Albany’s population has grown 0.7% between June 2016 and June 2017 - the most of major regional cities including Bunbury (-1.4 per cent), Esperance (-0.6 per cent), Karratha (0 per cent) and Kalgoorlie (-0.6 per cent).

Albany’s population grew by 0.5 per cent from June 2015 to June 2016.

An increase of 53 people was from birth, 144 was from internal migration and 82 came from overseas migration with a total of 37,686 people calling Albany home.
