Two Bushland Beach Dogs Voluntarily Handed To Council After Dog Attack

Two Townsville dogs have been put down following an attack in Bushland Beach today.

A Council spokesman said the two dogs allegedly attacked a third dog at the Coutts Drive property early this morning.

The dogs allegedly attacked a 48-year-old woman who came to break up the fight.

The neighbour was taken to the Townsville Hospital with neck, arm and leg injuries, and is in a stable condition.

The owners of the two dogs have handed them to council voluntarily, with the third dog taken for veterinary treatment.

The Council investigation will continue and officers will make contact with the victim and the owner of the dogs involved.
