Sentencing For Teenager Involved In Highway Smash, Will Be Announced In August

The sentence for a boy allegedly involved in a high speed stolen car crash between Townsville and Ingham will be announced next month. 

Judge Gregory Lynham is wanting to consider more information about the boys education and rehabilitation prospects before a decision is made. 

It follows a horror smash north of Frosty Mango where a car allegedly stolen, travelling at 180km/hour hit a car, leaving 3 elderly people with serious injuries.

The 17 year old will remain in custody until the sentencing next month.
