Regional airline JETGO Australia has announced it'll start flying between the Gold Coast and Albury from late June.
Taking off on the 29th June JETGO will offer two return flights per week on Sundays and Thursdays.
The flight time will be 1 hour and 50 minutes departing Coolangatta Airport at 10:50am and with the return flight departing Albury at 13:10 pm -- with one way fares starting from $189.
The smaller 37 and 44 seat Embraer Regional Jets are set to be used on the service.
JETGO officials say since commencing services from Albury to Brisbane the airline has received many requests for Gold Coast flights and passenger surveys have consistently identified strong demand.
