For all the vegetarians out there, this is for you.
Butter, with stores in Surry Hills and Parramatta, has a huge reputation for its delish fried chicken and ramen dishes...and now there is something for vegos to get excited about.
A special mushroom-filled vego ramen dish is making its way onto the menu for two weeks, until September 2.
The dish will have two huge field mushrooms at the centre, with black fungus, ramen and ajitsuke tamago (marinated egg) as well.
As for the broth, instead of pork bones, it will be a kombu stock made of veggies, chickpeas, cashew nuts, fermented bean curd and preserved mustard.
It will set you back a very reasonable $18.
