Police have now charged a 50 year old woman, after investigations into an alleged road rage incident at Waterloo yesterday.
She is accused of hitting a 49 year old woman twice with her Holden Commodore Sedan, while she was standing in the middle of John Street at around midnight, leaving her with multiple fractures and facial injuries, before driving off.
The victim was taken to St Vincents Hospital and after surgery is in a stable condition.
The accused was arrested yesterday afternoon at a home in Beverley Park, while her car seized was seized for forensic checks.
She's been charged with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and fail to stop and assist after vehicle impact causing grievous bodily harm, and will appear in court in the new year.
