A man has today been sentenced after carrying out dental procedures despite having no qualifications.
The man, from Fairfield in Sydney's west, faced 76 charges in what has been described as "horrendous" and "abhorrent" deception.
A dental practice was opened in Guilford by the man, which had two dentists working there.
However, it is claimed that when they left, the man took up the mantle and started to do dental work himself due to financial stress.
According to 9 News, the man worked as a dental practitioner in Iran, but does not have any qualifications to carry out procedures.
He has been fined $60,000.
