It’s going to be another scorcher today with Sydney's west to swelter through 40 degrees-plus.
The CBD is forecast to hit 35 degrees and if it reaches the mark it’ll be the 10th this Summer which will be an all-time record.
For some relief, Weather Zone’s Graham Britton says we’ll have to hang in tight for a while yet.
“We have a southerly change coming through late this afternoon and early evening, so expecting between 4 and 7pm,” he told Triple M.
“This will bring with it a risk of a few showers and also storms, particularly for the southern half of Sydney.”
