These Are The Current Sydney Roads & Public Transport Affected By The Winds

Motorists and public transport passengers are advised to allow plenty of extra time and take extreme care while travelling due to the strong winds in Sydney.

These are the current roads and public transport affected by the winds.

Roads

At Barangaroo - Sussex Street is closed between Erskine Street and Napoleon Street due to building damage.

Traffic is being diverted into Kent Street. Pedestrians are advised to avoid the area.

Buses are also being diverted into Kent Street.

At Northbridge - Sailors Bay Road is closed in both directions at Eastern Valley Way.

Trains

T1 North Shore, Northern & Western Line - allow extra travel time due to an object in overhead wiring at Strathfield and earlier infrastructure repairs near Milsons Point.

T2 Inner West & South Line - allow extra travel time due to an object in overhead wiring at Strathfield and an earlier grass fire at Bardwell Park.

T3 Bankstown Line - allow extra time if travelling away from the city due to tree on the tracks at Canterbury.

Buses

At Port Botany - buses are diverting away from Military Road due to fallen wires.

They're using Botany Road and Bumborah Point Road instead, missing seven stops

At Sutherland - buses are diverting away from Leonay Street due to fallen wires at Linden Street.

They're using The Grand Parade instead.

Ferries

F7 Eastern Suburbs ferries are only running between Circular Quay and Rose Bay as Watsons Bay Wharf is closed.
