Over 77,000 students have officially completed their HSC exams, with pens hitting the desk for the final time at 2.30pm this afternoon.
"Drama was the last of the 117 exams held over the last three-and-a-half weeks," NSW Education Standards Authority CEO David de Carvalho told Triple M.
"Students will get their results via SMS and email at 6am on Thursday, December 14."
Marking has already commenced, with 5,500 HSC markers getting through some 420,000 papers.
Over 70,000 students are expected to complete their HSC program in 2017.
Of this number, approximately 58,000 are expected to be eligible for an ATAR.
