Sydney's Been Sweating Through The Most Humid Week In 15 Years

If you've been sweating a bit more than normal lately, it seems as though it's for good reason.

According to readings taken at the airport, Sydney has sweltered through it's most humid week in at least 15 years.

"We've been having these north-easterly winds...for the past week and they'll last for a couple of days," Weatherzone's Brett Dutschke said, reports smh.com.au.

This week, Sydney is set for tops of 28C and 29C in the city, with Penrith expected to be hit with 34C and 37C days to start the week.

It remains very humid, meaning that these temperatures will feel a lot hotter.

From Wednesday, temperatures are expected to drop until next Tuesday, with some mild weather in the low-to-mid 20s, with it as low as 17C some mornings.
