A woman has been charged with high range drink-driving after blowing more than five times the legal limit in Maroubra last night.
The 53 year old woman peaked the interest of police officers conducting random breath testing on Malabar Road at 8.30pm when a Hyundai coupe stopped short of the RBT site.
Officers approached the Malabar local who returned a positive reading and after being taken back to Maroubra Police Station, allegedly returned a reading of 0.267.
She was charged with high-range drink-driving and had her licence suspended on the spot.
Police also alleged it's the second time within five years she's been charged with high-range drink driving.
She will face Waverley Local Court on Wednesday 22 February 2017.
