Sydney School In Lockdown After Armed Robbery

A school in Sydney's west has been in lockdown this afternoon following reports that a man with a knife had entered the school office.

According to NSW Police, the man stole cash and fled from the scene, with the school placed in lockdown to ensure the safety of students and staff.

No one was injured in the attack, and police were called to the school on Hunter Street, Auburn at approximately 1.15pm today.

A crime scene has been established, and authorities are appealing to the public to assist with the investigation.

The man has been described as having a large build. 

He was wearing a hooded black jumper, black shorts, and covered his fact with a black bandana.
