Just when we got used to those cooler mornings… it’s time to sleep naked again.
Two weeks ago Penrith was the hottest place on earth and then we enjoyed the cool breeze settling in the arvos… now another severe heatwave is set to hit Sydney today and it will be hanging around until Monday.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, Penrith once again will be hit with temps five days over 40 degrees.
The heatwave has already hit South Australia and Victoria.
The Bureau has warned local in NSW and the ACT to "keep cool, stay hydrated and look out for vulnerable community members."
So far, Monday is predicted to be the hottest with 35 degrees in the city and 43 degrees out west.
