Six kittens have been brutally attacked and killed, with a member of the public making the distressing discovery at a park in north-west Sydney.
The kittens were found in Crestwood Reserve, Baulkham Hills on Tuesday morning, with the animals aged between six to eight weeks.
According to the Animal Welfare League, all six kittens had been "subjected to significant blunt force, many having severe head and spinal injuries".
It is also reported that the kittens had also been stabbed, with the tails removed from four of them.
