Protests are underway in the Sydney CBD, with workers filling the streets demanding pay rises.
The complaint comes with calls for the rules to be changed, in order to keep up with the current cost of living.
According to the Australian Council of Trade Unions, wage growth is at record lows - and as many as four out of five people not getting a pay rise.
It is argued that the minimum wage is moving further away from a liveable wage.
The protests started at Belmore Park, and are moving through the CBD.
Buses are currently not running down Liverpool Street.
