Every capital city in the country has experienced above average temperatures, reaching up to 45.1 degrees.

Penrith, in Sydney’s west comes out on top with their hottest day reaching 45.1 degrees – that’s ALMOST 50 DEGREES. They even had six consecutive days with temps over 40 degrees.
