Man Dies In Hospital After Being Pulled From Water At Port Kembla

Police continue their investigations

A man has died after being pulled from the water at a beach south of Sydney at the weekend.

About 1pm on Sunday, emergency services were called to a beach in Port Kembla after members of the public pulled the man from the water.

The 33-year-old man was taken to Wollongong Hospital in a critical condition.

Sadly, the man died today in hospital.

Officers from Lake Illawarra Local Area Command are continuing their investigations and will prepare a brief for the information of the Coroner.
