The trains are a nightmare this morning, with several incidences causing delays across the network.
A small crack in the tracks has resulted in changes to the stopping schedule of the City Circle, with Airport Line trains commencing and finishing at Central.
Some people will need to change trains at Central to complete their trip.
There are also delays on the North Shore line and Northern line due to an operational issue at Gordon and a medical emergency at Redfern this morning.
T1 Sydney Trains advises that frequent trains are still running, but journey times are longer.
Services have resumed in both directions on the City Circle after a crack in the rail was detected earlier this morning between Town Hall and Wynyard stations. Sydney Trains maintenance crews worked hard to make repairs to enable services to resume normal operation. We apologise to customers for the inconvenience to their travel this morning. Customers are advised to continue checking mobile apps and transportnsw.info for the latest service updates.
