Emergency services are working to rescue a 15-year-old girl who was injured during a school camping trip on the Central Coast yesterday.
The girl sustained a possible neck injury during a bush walk just after 1pm yesterday in the Brisbane Water National Park at Wondabyne.
NSW Ambulance paramedics trekked into the national park yesterday, and stayed overnight to treat the girl.
She is understood to be in a stable condition.
According to NSW Police, the weather is affecting the ability of emergency services to extract the girl from the national park.
There is no road access and the site is reportedly difficult for air extraction.
A command post has been set up nearby, with Brisbane Water Police District officers coordinating the rescue effort.
