Cops Charge Man With Drug Offences After Sydney Airport Operation

He was refused bail

Police have arrested a man at Sydney international airport in relation to commercial drug supply.

About 6am this morning, Strike Force Boorara detectives arrested a 25-year-old man with the assistance of Australian Border Force at Sydney International Airport.

He was taken to Mascot Police Station where an arrest warrant was executed.

He was charged with a number of offences, including supplying a prohibited drug greater than an indictable quantity, supplying a prohibited drug greater than a commercial quantity and participating in a criminal group contributing to criminal activity.

The man was refused bail to appear at Central Local Court today.

Strike Force Boorara detectives have been investigating the ongoing supply of ice and cocaine in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs since the unit was established in October 2017.
