Bomb Scare In Sydney’s North Shore

A bomb squad was called to Hornsby CBD after an unexploded artillery shell was found.

The artillery shell was found yesterday afternoon in a donation bin at Fusion Australia, a not-for-profit organisation located in Hornsby.

Staff were unaware how long it had been there.

The building was evacuated by police officers, before the bomb squad was called in to dispose of the artillery shell.

Apparently it was disguised by being covered in a wool doily.
