Anti-terror bollards have been installed in Sydney’s CBD, located in Martin Place.
Pictures were posted on Twitter of the workers installing concrete barriers right outside the area where we saw the deadly terrorist attack take place at the Lindt Café.
It is being reported that twelve concrete barriers have been installed around the busy pedestrian plaza in the CBD.
The bollards come after concerns were raised that Sydney would face a vehicle-ramming terror attack, similar to those in Melbourne, London and Stockholm.
Police said the barriers were installed as a measure to ensure people's safety.
The same type of barriers were also installed in Melbourne's city centre overnight, right near Southern Cross Station.
