An epic outbreak of gastro has hit NSW.
Hospitals all across the state are being hit with the outbreak, with over 200 cases being reported in emergency departments within just a week.
NSW Health told The Sydney Morning Herald, that NSW locals need to be attentive to their personal hygiene.
Stressing to wash your hands regularly and if you’re experiencing symptoms of gastro to stay at home.
Sydney Morning Herald are reporting that the rise in gastro cases is a 34% jump compared to this time last year.
NSW Health also told SMH, “The gastro increase seen at hospitals coincides with a rise in viral gastro caused by norovirus and rotavirus in the community, child care centres and aged care facilities.”
