A large out of control bushfire has broken out at Beacon Hill, North Sydney, on Tuesday afternoon.
The blaze on Lady Penryhn Drive is right now 30 hectares in size, and is issuing plenty of smoke across surrounding suburbs.
115 firefighters are conducting backburning in an attempt get on top of it, and two aircraft are assisting with water bombing.
There is no direct threat to homes right now.
Investigators are on the scene trying to work how how it started.
The nearby Oxford Falls Grammar school has been alerted but no evacuations have taken place.
