The State Government has announced support for the Wentworth Sporting Complex Golf Club, the volunteer ran establishment to benefit from a grant.
$133,000 thousand dollars has been announced for new lawn mowing equipment, allowing easier maintenance of the grounds.
The support stems from the Club Grants Category 3 infrastructure Grants Program.
The grant itself is funded by a contribution from the State's registered clubs to reinvest profits from gaming machine back into community projects.
President of the Wentworth Sporting Complex Golf Club Jim Jacobs says the club is run solely by volunteers, the grant helping to keep the course in excellent condition.
Murray MP Austin Evans has welcomed the news, saying the new equipment will ensure the club remains a local attraction.
