Serious Crash in Robinvale

Mildura Police are appealing to the public for witnesses to a serious car accident in Robinvale.


It's believed at around 8.12 pm on Saturday night, a Subaru sedan lost control on a right hand bend on Malaya Road.


The car left the road and collided with a tree.


The driver, a 38 year old Queensland male, has been taken to Mildura Base Hospital.


The front passenger, a 22 year old male, was trapped for around 20 minutes; and had to be cut from the car.


He was then flown by air ambulance to Royal Melbourne Hospital with life threatening injuries.


The rear passenger sustained serious but non life threatening injuries, and was also flown to Melbourne.


Mildura Police are now investigating the cause of the accident, with witnesses who saw the car leading up to the incident or on the road at the time of the incident urged to come forward.
