Mildura locals are being encouraged to roll up their sleeves and donate for someone in need.
The Mildura Blood Donor Centre is in desperate need of donors, with the centre appealing for 8 donors to come in tomorrow.
The centre is appealing for donors to ensure there is enough supply for patients who need the treatment.
Australian Red Cross Blood Service spokesperson Ellie Giles says the majority of blood donated, around 35 per cent, goes to help cancer patients and people with blood diseases.
Anyone interested in donating for tomorrow or in coming weeks are urged to make an appointment and call 13 14 95.
