With statistics revealing 1/3 of regional students don’t complete Year 12, Member for Mallee Andrew Broad is calling on locals to get involved in an education review.

Conducted by a Professor at Flinders University the study will explore education from school all the way to job success and develop solutions as to how regional students like those in the Mallee can gain better educational outcomes.

Anyone can all get involved in the review by visiting www.education.gov.au.

A light plane crash that occurred just kilometres away from the Mildura airport last month is being investigated by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau.

The pilot walked away uninjured after he was forced to make the paddock landing after the engine failed.

Bowel cancer experts are asking people to make sure they follow through with a colonoscopy after a positive bowel cancer test.

The State Government has doubled the first home owners grant for young regional Victorians looking to get into the market.

Currently, people purchasing a new home valued up to $750,000 receive $10,000 from the State, as of July 1 that will increase to $20,000.

It's expected this will help address housing affordability for the younger generation in regional towns and cities.

Superclass boat Superman took out the title for the second year straight.

Sunraysia cricketers finished round 13 matches over the weekend, with now jut one round remaining before finals.

Workers Gol Gol defeated Irymple 162 to 74.

And Mildura West defeated Merbein South 3 for 181 to 8 for 171.
