Despite his disappointment following the release of the state budget Mildura MP Peter Crisp says he will run for a fourth term in office next year according to the Sunraysia Daily.
Mr Crisp was re-elected back in 2013 and although he had a 16% margin he denies it's a safe Nationals seat.
With plenty of unfinished business Crisp says he'll run again to see the completion of the Murray Basin Rail System, the start of upgrades to level crossings and the second stage of the riverfront development.
The Nationals Party say the Andrews Government's has cut 32 million dollars from the agriculture sector after shutting down a subset of the old Department of Agriculture.
Party Leader Peter Walsh says the decision could stifle the confidence of Sunraysia farmers and landholders.
Mildura police are warning locals about credit card skimming after a skimming device was found on an ATM in Mildura.
As a result police say there's been at least one incident reported where thieves were able to withdraw a large amount of money from the victims account.
Police say we should always be checking out an ATM before inserting our card skimming devices can be very small and placed over the card reader device with a camera placed nearby so thieves can read the pin number.
The advice is to never use an ATM if it looks odd things are placed differently or it's unusual in appearance and get into the habit of always covering your pin number.
