Coomealla High School School have been announced as this year's winners for the Yamaha Great Start Grant.
The scheme works to support the Australian Music Association's national ambition to engage more young people in music making, as well as Yamaha's own education advocacy program "Off to a Great Start".
The locals are set to receive $45,000 thousand dollars worth of Yamaha Music equipment; including an electric drum kit, a digital grand piano and a digital audio workstation to play perform and record on.
The instruments will be presented to the school at an exclusive launch concert with X Factor winner Dami Im today.
The event is expected to bring around 1000 community members, students and families to the event.
