Qantas has announced today it will be increasing its discount scheme for Kalgoorlie-Boulder residents for tickets purchased under a discounted fares program.
For all resident fares booked from today, the discount on the Qantas-controlled component of return Red eDeal fares will double, increasing from 10 per cent to 20 per cent.
Discounts will continue to vary up to 30 per cent, depending on the type of fare purchased.
The discounts were introduced last November to benefit nine regional airports, with Kalgoorlie-Boulder included in the 12-month trial.
The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder waived all passenger charges for resident passengers taking advantage of the deal when it launched in November.
