The Eagles take on Richmond on Saturday, bounce down is at 12:10. So why do we have to wait until 3 (when the game is over) to finally see it?

Unfortunately for those of us that rely on free to air TV, Foxtel gets the live rights for this game in WA.

Saturday's game will be one of three occasions this season that West Coast games will not be live on Free To Air TV.

It's due to the current TV rights deal between the Seven Network and Foxtel.

Fox Sports hold the exclusive rights to broadcast 3 West Coast and 3 Fremantle Dockers games live, while the Seven Network will be allowed to show the game on delay.

We know of the West Coast games - this weekend's game against Richmond, Round 15 against the Western Bulldogs and Round 20 against St Kilda.

We're not sure on the Freo games yet, but it'll happen three times during the season as well.

Could be worse, fans in Victoria won't get this game on free to air at all.
