Property Sales Slump Means No Land Valuations

South Burnett residents will not receive the land valuations for the 2018 year as not enough property was with bought or sold in the region during the period.

State valuer general Neil Bray believes their wasn't enough movement in the South Burnett market to reevaluate land values.

In total only 22 of the 62 rateable government areas had they're land evaluations done.

The last valuation on property happened in 2016.

Council will be consulted later this year to decide whether or not be included in the 2019 program.
