Past patient and dedicated LifeFlight supporter, Cardell Turner will host the inaugural Kingaroy Family Fun Day this Saturday, in support of the rescue helicopter service which saved his life after he was involved in a horrific dirt bike accident last September.
The father of two has pledged to give back to LifeFlight, organising a day of family-friendly activities to help raise money for the LifeFlight Foundation.
Revellers will be treated to pig racing, a car crash rescue simulation by Queensland Fire Emergency Services (QFES) and the opportunity to dunk local community members in LifeFlight's first fundraising 'dunk tank'. There will also be live music performances, a jumping castle, raffles, sausage sizzles and more.
Cardell Turner is the face of LifeFlight's Spring Appeal and knows he wouldn't be alive today if it wasn't for LifeFlight.
The Kingaroy Family Fun Day is an opportunity for Cardell and the South Burnett community to band together and help raise money for a vital cause.
