Mental Health Support in the South Burnett to get a Boost

Mental Health support in the South Burnett is in line to receive a $400,000 boost – all depending on what happens at the polling booths on November 25th.

The LNP is promising the money to go towards setting up the South Burnett Clubhouse – a place that will help people with a mental illness reconnect with the community – if the LNP wins at the polls.

It is a similar concept as in Toowoomba that provides vocational training and work experience to people with a mental illness.

Nanango MP Deb Frecklington says it has been one of her major goals to secure better mental health services for people in regional areas.  She says it is an invaluable service to those people in the community that need a bit of support.
