A Kingaroy man who thought it was a good idea to pretend to be a statue to evade police has been charged with “obstructing police.”
Police allege that on Sunday they attended the Murray Parade address in the South Burnett in relation to a “wanted person.”
A 26-year -old male was seen by police in the bedroom of the home holding a box and pretending to be a statue - standing still after many requests to unlock the door.
The man ran from the house and was later arrested. He will appear in a Kingaroy court on the 25th of this month.
