Nanango police will now be able to keep a closer eye on the community thanks to the installation of 15 new CCTV cameras around the CBD.

The Federal Government contributed $80,000 toward the technology, which will allow officer’s to instantly access the cameras from anywhere, they and can be managed via computer, tablet or smart phone.

Maranoa MP David Littleproud says he is hoping the cameras will make the community feel safer.
