With the recent crime wave sweeping the South Burnett CCTV cameras are helping to nab offenders in the region.
Over 30 cameras have been installed in the CBD over the last year with police saying it's the way forward.
The footage is making it easier to identify persons involved in incidents and they are viewed in courts if required.
Meanwhile residents are being reminded to lock away their keys and valuables and make sure houses are locked every night.
It's comes as crime sprees continue throughout the South Burnett with police saying most property crime is being conducted by juvenile offenders.
Curfews in bail conditions are helping them to keep an eye on repeat offenders but more needs to be done.
