The Queens Baton Arrives In Town This Sunday

The Queens baton will roll into town this Sunday January 28 and carried through Griffith by more than 20 batonbearers ahead of the Commonwealth Games.

Locals and visitors are encouraged to line the streets with Games pride and cheer on those batonbeaers that were nominated by their peers for achievements and contributions to our great city!

The relay will depart the Griffith Exie's Sports Oveal in Spiers Street at 4:30pm travelling to the Community Gardens via Wakaden Street, Blumer Avenue, Banna Avenue and lastly into Kookora Street.
