The premier food & beverage festival, Taste Riverina, has announced that it will no longer be an October-only event. They’re branching out to showcase a range of experiences throughout the year across the region!

The news couldn’t have come at a better time, as we mourn the loss of 30,000 litres of prosecco, spilled to the floor in an Italian winery after a fermentation tank explosion.

The horrific event, which occurred in northern Italy at the Conegliano Veneto winery, was recorded by a worker on-site. We’re still not sure if the footage more closely resembles our sweetest dreams or our most horrifying nightmares…

It’s a tragedy, and the only way to deal with the loss is to drown our sorrows with a renewed sense of appreciation for the Riverina wine scene, which is thankfully still going strong despite the prosecco incident.

The Riverina has become a destination for authentic food and wine experiences. The Industry Launch is an opportunity for Riverina operators to learn more about changes to Taste Riverina, promotional channels available and how Taste Riverina marketing can help attract more visitors to their event.

Thank goodness Riverina has us covered for all our wine needs!

The free Industry Launch is happening on Tuesday 16th October from 9:30 – 10:30am at the TAFE On Course Restaurant, Wagga Wagga.
